Thanksgiving 2024

Well, it's over. I guess it is time to seriously get things done for Christmas only 27 days from now!

I spent a quiet day with my cat. My cousins sent a big fine plate of traditional feasting fare. Missouri sequestered the sun but spared the snowstorms earlier projected.
I thought I'd share a picture of the Mayflower sampler I made in 2020. I love the last sentence! "WE ARE LIVING IN THE TOMORROW FOR WHICH THEY WROUGHT."
Keep looking for the elf on the shelf! Have a good season.

Hello, Gayla, I actually just wanted to see what's new on Cielo Noriega's blog, which I've been reading for a few years and which is really beautiful. I came across your site. We are similar in many ways, I have a son who I raised alone, who is now 25, even though we don't see him that often anymore, there is a very close heart connection between the two of us. I've calculated that when you started this blog you must have been the same age as me. I'll be 53 in May. I also worked as a teacher. Best wishes from Hungary (where I emigrated from Germany a year ago) Katja
