The first night of our little four day, three night getaway we spent in a small town, Festus, MO, near St. Louis.... We had so much fun just ordering in pizza, watching television, playing on our Wifi tablets....
According to the brochure the city fathers SHOT A BIBLE to name the town! The first proper name after the bullet stopped in Matthew was Festus! I personally think that is terrible! (no offense, Festus people! Your town was beautiful!)
We didn't leave home until late afternoon Wednesday, so this was a good place to rest.
