A Christmas Party in June - Tablescape Thursday

I'm linking to Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps on the porch! Have a wonderful weekend.

In some parts of the country (like mine) today was one of our first sunny, summery-hot days. How refreshing to attend Doll Club at a beautiful home in the country and experience CHRISTMAS without all the rush and ice and hubbub of the holiday. As a program/roll call, we each told stories about receiving our favorite or most memorable dolls. The stories were wonderful, as you might guess, coming from a circle of women ranging in age from 55 to 85! Then when we made our way through this beautiful home to the dining room, we discovered our place settings were right in style! How pretty!

Strawberries and ice cream, birthday cake (this is the mystery reader's home from yesterday's post!), fresh berries, strawberry filled cookies... Look at the beautiful flatware!

So, ho ho ho! Enjoy the weekend!

Although, I'm not quite ready for Christmas, this table sure is pretty and festive. The centerpiece is just adorable. Thanks for sharing!

What a fun idea -- I'm sure the Christmas setting was a delight after all the stories.
