Testing. . .

Greetings!~ You will find me staring endlessly at testing monitor screens... day in, day out... My kiddos are doing state tests on the computers. After they sign in, their little names pop up on a monitor station, and I watch the page numbers by their names... Why? Because that is the way we see something, not sure what... Most of us teachers are not fans of the End-Of-Course state tests. We never see the tests, and we see the scores and the data... data... data...

It becomes yet another toll on our spirits, but soon it will pass and the bells will again chime the advent of regular classes. And, in only 11 short school days my students and their teachers will celebrate another summer vacation season.

Yesterday I attended a lovely Italian Garden party. Can you believe I fogot my camera??? It was just lovely. I have posted about it before. This year we had lovely cheeses, snacks, and Italian salad... Enjoy your weekend...
