New cool kid in town!

We found a refrigerator. I think it is a little smaller, and it was available today... It seems icy cold... no way will it be here 25 years like the last one. Lol... I was sad to see it limp out the door because my dad had bought it.... 


I like it just fine. If I become super healthy, wealthy,  and wise and open up the house to huge parties... I will wish for a bigger one... but for just us two... it seemed great to get this at about one-half the price.

Yay! Happy to hear you found a fridge. When we went from a family of seven to a family of two, we downsized. Everyone said we were nuts. Honestly the only difference is we can see the leftovers in time to eat them and we have fewer half used bottles of salad dressing and condiments.

I should add, we had a big party when one of our kids graduated. I rented a really large frig from Rent A Center for a week. I was able to put all groceries in it during the week, the salads in it the night before and it eliminated the need for coolers and ice the day of the party. Please note, at that time they did not accept checks, you had to have cash. They required one week's rental in advance as well as one week as security. They returned the security deposit when they took it back. Because - they also delivered and picked it up!

It looks really nice and an adequate size! About three years ago ours died and it was rather a nightmare getting what we wanted and in place ... it took forever. Thank goodness we had our old one in the garage, which (knock on wood) just keeps on going although it's 20 years old. xoxo

It's perfect! We had to buy a new fridge a couple of years ago. We are starting to downsize for the two of us, so when ever we have to get something new, we look to the 'two-ish' size.
