Just touching base with all of you. Mom had a little setback and is in the hospital again. She spent a week in a larger hospital, and I can't say she improved there, but we finally got moved to our local one, and she seems much, much better. Looking at coming home in the near future.

It's incredible (and kind of sad) how changing a hospital can make such a big difference with the healing process, Gayla. So glad that your sweet momma will be able to come home soon. I continue to keep you both in my prayers!! :)

So sorry to hear about the setback. I bet it was scary for both of you. And I am sure your mother is uncomfortable with changes in the routine for her, too. Glad she has been moved closer to you and hope she will be able to return home soon. You are both in my thoughts and prayers.
Thinking of you both, so far away, and wishing you strength and courage for the days, and sweet sleep for the nightfall. Your boundless patience has stood you in good stead in these hard-working, trying days.
