"The breezes taste
Of apple peel.
The air is full
Of smells to feel-
Ripe fruit, old footballs,
Burning brush,
New books, erasers,
Chalk, and such.
The bee, his hive,
Well-honeyed hum,
And Mother cuts
Chrysanthemums.
Like plates washed clean
With suds, the days
Are polished with
A morning haze.
"

September is upon
A warm breeze swoon,
And cranky-snarly cats
Bellow to the moon
The lil' chill nips
Blend into the wind
As summer's daylight
Slowly rescind.
And as the nature
Brightens into autumn-hue
There lay girl in deep snore
Enjoying a Sept dream for two.
