The official herald of spring, our forsythias.... They just burst into blooms today!
Saturday's sky left us with breathtaking scenic magic. My cousin was here, and we went outside into the misty evening to take these pictures.... The line of clouds on the horizon seem to create fantastic mountain ranges.... a new kingdom to explore from our usual prairie fare.

I know the feeling of being a Queen without a castle also. So well said, it's hard to be cheerful all the time when as a grown person you feel like decisions are not yours to make. I hope things improve for you. I do think the being positive helps.
