They shoot Reindeer, don't they?... my apologies to the Season...

Yeah... Although these shots came from PicasaWeb, Squidoo, and other yummy places on the web, they could have come from my mirror... I'm one tired reindeer today. I have a serious malady called "Fix-it Fox Syndrome." All I have to do is hear the despair and the anxiety in someone dear's voice, and I proceed to move heaven and earth to "fix it." So, yesterday when the apparent panic in my mother's voice reached to the marrow of my bones, I vowed to "fix the problems" before dawn. But. I. couldn't. But. I. did. try.....

5:30 found me still wrapping away, frantically trying to find all the gifts I'd squirrelled away like a madwoman. Lost: One kinda expensive gift set of Lucky Men's cologne. Lost: several VERY expensive charm necklaces from Cupid's Charm, my favorite jewelry on the web!!!! Lost: one slightly (and I mean slightly) used mind... Today dawns cold, grey, and with one eye slightly snoozing I am making chili and finishing this portion of the wrapping. Then there is HER part, which is really what she's panicked about... Then sorting... NO, seriously, NO. I understand wholly and holy what the true meaning of the holiday is. I adore the Lord Jesus with all my heart. I am going to finish this ratrace if at all possible today, and then the rest of the season is open to reflection, to worship, to charm, and to family... LOVE THAT IDEA.

Oh it feels like a rat race for sure sometimes. I'm tired just thinking of all I have to do! I want some time to just sit by the tree, have some memories and bask in the joy of the real reason for Christmas. Peace to us all!
