Entryway Update
Below: I updated yet another of my "gifts" to Mom that I found on the floor in the bedroom my Dad used to have. Berries and blooms... and if you peer very carefully, you'll see my Mr. Crow tucked in behind for the summer. He's waiting for autumn's splendor, but he'd enjoy a berry or two in the meantime. We have a huge crow in our hayfield for real. He's having a lot of fun with the hay all curled up.
Continuing my quest for "updates," the balm for my soul, I tackled the little wash stand that stands at my entryway. It didn't need as much tlc as other places do, so I figured I could fix it up right away. First, the lamp needed a wash... Mom bought some of Don Aslett's microfiber cloths from a television sales network, and they are fantastic! Just get the cloth damp, and it DOES do wonders. Then I snooped around and found this lowly little valise with sunflowers in a dark corner of the hallway. I made it a few years ago for my mother, but she isn't really into sunflowers or yellow, so she had relegated it to a pretty dark exile. Just the thing for summer, don'tcha think?
