Happy Earth Day.... one day late!

What a beautiful sight as we drove into our yard this afternoon. We'd been to Columbia (about 50 miles South). The Japanese Maples, Redbuds, and White Flowering Tree of some kind (like my botanical name for it?) were blazing through the forests. The late sun was darkening the clouds that skirted to the North... It was breath-taking. We slipped around our corner and Voila! Here stands the Redbud planted by Mom and Dad a few years ago.... Redbuds are simply beautiful trees.
On that note, the hunt for green October continues with the UPS man and his plant dropoff today... Who knows what lurks beneath these boxes???? and will show up on cookie sheets here and there before its trip into our ground as yet unprepared!!! eeek.

I am here for the party--I will celebrate Earth day with you, though. I love blue and white china, too! So, I am following you and will be back for the party today. I should know better and be fashionably late.

I've stopped by for the party and I love the look of blue and white china. I was late to the party as I didn't find out about it until yesterday while visiting Geralyn's blog. After I received my invitation I realized I didn't have a thing to wear other than my uniform and it was too late to go shopping at the last minute. I waited up for my oldest son an at 3 a.m he made a beautiful new hat and outfit for my new blog. I feel asleep writing my post only to wake and find I was running very late. You are the first guest I've met and your blog is beautiful. I'm so excited to be meeting so many new people. I will stop back by to see you again later. I also love your redbud and can't wait to see what is in the boxes you just received for Earth Day.
