A view of the blue

I'm linking to Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps on the Porch. Check out the other links!!!!
Since it was our birthdays, my friend and I decided to get together and "party" a bit...
Yesterday she called and invited me to brunch in her beautiful home by the lake.
I had such an amazing time. We laughed and talked, watched her ducks by the new pond I hadn't seen... She set the table in this beautiful stoneware called Old World, a pattern by Temptations on QVC. I love it! Her home has always been a haven of calm, a little touch of peace filled with lots of beauty. It may be her spirit and the sweet friendships we have shared. It was a great morning. The sunlight and my camera had a few issues, but sometime I'll share the spectacular view from her cathedral height living room windows... I got to see the misty rains come gently in. I asked her if I could just sit there through fall, winter, and then spring and watch the seasons roll in around that view.. It would be tempting to look for October's jewels, winter's icy sparkle, spring's emerald promise....... I told her she could just toss a different seasonal throw over me while I sat really still... She said okay... but I came home anyway... Happy Summertime, y'all.
