Welcome to my Sunday tablescape... I'm linking with Susan's Between Naps on the Porch Tablescape Thursday. My mother has had this china for a very long time. I love to use it in the late summer/early fall.
A touch of crows... Mom has the audacity to call them "dirty birds"!!!! She doesn't share the love....
Simple setting for a family simple Sunday meal.
When the whole gang comes to eat, we set the table in the dining room...
Sunshine has finally rediscovered Missouri. And it has really found it in a big way with high temps and heat indexes... It was fun to accent the sunshine with the sunflowers and blueberries in the basket.
Our menu was Chicken Enchiladas, a crisp lettuce/vegetable salad, rolls, apple butter, zucchini casserole, buttered corn, and for dessert, an orange-peach cake with ice cream. Best of all, we had a lot of fun with everyone at the table and the afternoon of playing games and laughing and talking.

Hello, I am over from Susan/BNOTP. This is so pretty! It's nice that you are using your mother's plates. And I love your sunflowers and, especially, the container you have them in! I will visit again soon.

What a pretty yellow and green table. I have always liked the pattern of your plates.
I am not sure what part of Missouri you are in, but here in east/central Kansas the sunflowers along the roadside have started blossoming...they are so pretty.
Have a great weekend!
